  • CLASS SCHEDULE: Drones, Nannycams and other Privacy Issues for Real Estate Professionals

During the course of their transactions, real estate professionals obtain intimate details of clients’ lives and relationships, their financial history, negotiating strategy and other personal information. Technology further enables real estate licensees to obtain, transmit and store this valuable personal data. Drones, one of the latest in a long line of dazzling technological wizardry, enable agents to market real estate in ways that were unthinkable even ten years ago, including the ability to peer inside the private space of clients and others. Older technologies, such as nanny cams and social media, have been shown that they can be used for nefarious activities as well as for good. This course will help real estate licensees grasp the significant ethical and legal issues involved when dealing with privacy and confidentiality in real estate transactions.
