Experience
- Sandy has been a licensed Broker for over 18 years, beginning her career with a pre-licensing course at the Fonville Morisey School. She is currently a certified pre-license, post-license and continuing education instructor.
- She taught various educational courses at Vance Granville Community College and adult continuing education courses at NC Federal Correctional facilities.
- She spent several years in property management as a Regional Director of HUD Section 8, Tax Credit and Rural development housing complexes. In that position she supervised 36 on-site managers, and over 1100 housing units.
- She served as Quality Control Analyst for HUD regulatory partner, NC Quadel Corporation. In that position she performed HUD onsite quality control inspections and SEMAP (Sec. 8 management assessment program) at over
500 North Carolina assisted housing complexes.
- Prior to her real estate career, Sandy was an international and domestic Flight Attendant with Transamerica, Air France and Eastern Airlines. She has traveled extensively in Europe, Asia, Africa, South America and all 50 states.
Career Achievements and Professional Designations
- Sandy holds the NLHA (National Leased Housing Association) and NC Quadel, AHM Occupancy Certification (Assisted Housing Manager).
- Sandy is currently the full-time Staff Instructor at Fonville Morisey. She is proud to be a part of the team of instructors with the highest pass rate in the state.
- Member of SAHMA, Southeastern Affordable Housing Management Association.
- Sandy became acting Broker-in-Charge of Hubbard & Associates Realty in 2001.
